Promoting Chinese Culture in the Midwest!

It's the time of the year when we gathered as a big community family and celebrate the mid-autumn festival and to keep our tradition going. We will be releasing the beautiful water lanterns again this year! Come to join us at Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens!  (new location this year)

Date: Saturday, September 28, 2024 (rain out day the following Sunday Sept. 29th)

Time: 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm

Place: Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens

Address: 8909 W. 179th Street, Overland Park, KS 66013

Activities: Lantern riddle guess, Tai-chi, Dragon and Lion dance, Chinese medicine, Culture showcases, Kids friendly outdoor games, Karaoke, Movie, Food, Moon cakes, Launch water lanterns, etc.

The activities are free to the public. The lantern and food are available for purchase online or onsite.

Gather with friends and family to share in the joy and meaning of this special festival. As the lanterns light up the water, let's reflect on unity, harmony, and the beauty of our shared heritage.
